Title:
Intermediate – Senior Level Project Manager | MTA Projects
Client:

Description:
Immediate need for Intermediate to Senior Level Project Managers to work on various MTA projects. Extensive site work which could be wherever MTA travels. Will manage on-site contractors on a variety of MTA projects, adhering to budget and schedule.
Responsibilities:
- The candidate will act as Project Manager to small and mid-size contractors on a variety of MTA projects.
- Manage and supervise multiple projects that are related to the MTA, regarding subways, LIRR, and Metro North.
- Projects could be anything from track work to station platforms, stairways, to sidewalks overhead.
- Manage physical, technical, cost, and scheduling objectives.
- Must have significant experience in effectively managing small contractors on multiple projects while adhering to budget and schedule.
- Should have construction experience with the MTA or any similar public agency.
- Should have an engineering or architecture degree or similar.
- Must have a minimum of five (5) years of full-time experience in Construction Management.
- Must have a demonstrated ability in management, supervision, analysis of technical and legal questions.
- Should have a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects.
- Familiar with scheduling, cost estimating, MS Project, etc.
- Training in safety and quality assurance.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management
