Roller Rabbit is looking for an Accessories Designer who is passionate about creating fun and functional product with a strong point of view. This role will report to the Design Director, and will be responsible for driving the creative vision, design execution, and seasonal development of our accessories assortment. The ideal candidate is equal parts creative and detail oriented, thrives in a fast paced collaborative environment, and is excited to create innovative product that is both trend driven and on-brand for the Roller Rabbit customer.

Description
Responsibilities
- Design and propose seasonal accessories assortments across categories for soft travel accessories and RTW Fashion Bags; including pouches, cosmetic bags, quilted totes, duffle bags, beach bags, crossbody styles, and additional lifestyle accessories.
- Own accessories programs from initial concept through production handoff, ensuring seasonal timelines, approvals, and deliverables are met.
- Partner closely with Product Development, Production, and Merchandising teams to align on seasonal strategies, development calendars, costing targets, and margin goals.
- Research market trends and conduct competitive shopping to define seasonal silhouette, fabrication, trim, color, and product category direction
- Develop seasonal inspiration and trend presentations highlighting key materials, trims, graphics, print and pattern, color, and emerging opportunities across the accessories landscape.
- Concept, sketch, and develop color and print CAD presentations for internal seasonal development boards and final collection line sheets.
- Communicate with overseas vendors and factories on sourcing, sampling, proto development, tech packs, and delivery timelines to ensure smooth execution through the season.
- Partner with Product Development to source and develop fabrics, trims, hardware, and components, including custom branded details, packaging, and hangtags where applicable.
- Create production ready tech packs with detailed construction call outs and specifications for proto development and bulk production.
- Collaborate with the Print Design team to ensure color accuracy and quality standards across prints and coordinating trims.
- Identify opportunities for innovation in materials, construction, trims, and product categories to help grow and evolve the Accessories business.
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or relevant area of specialty
- 5 - 7 of experience in accessories (bags)
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Excel, Adobe Photoshop & Adobe Illustrator
- Self-starter - ability to work independently and prioritize projects
- Excellent organization skills
- Patient, professional, and efficient
- A love of fashion is a plus!

$85,000 - $110,000 per year
