Program Overview

The Lincoln Center Internship Program is a paid, in-person arts administration internship designed for NYC-based undergraduate and graduate students seeking meaningful, real-world experience in the cultural sector.

This program cultivates the next generation of leaders by offering hands-on work opportunities and access to professionals across the arts and culture field.

Interns gain access to:

* Meaningful in-person work experience in the arts and culture sector

* Professional development workshops focused on career readiness

* A vibrant community of peers and program alumni

* A Conversation Series featuring leaders across Lincoln Center

* Access tospecial eventsthat reflect Lincoln Center's mission as the world's leading performing arts center

What you'll get to do:

* Help choose, source, and organize materials for Create-A-Thons (live and video) and other workshop-based education events

* Catalog, track, and maintain education material stock and supplies

* Support on-site and virtual program execution, including document distribution, participant flow, and workshop setup

* Provide occasional support for Pipeline and Family Workshops

* Participate in training on accessibility practices and inclusive design approaches for arts programming

* Learn how material selection influences artistic engagement, problem-solving, and participant comfort in workshop environments

* Gain insight into how education teams structure activities, anticipate participant needs, and design experiences that deepen engagement rather than create barriers

You'll be a great fit if...

* A rising college junior or senior, or equivalent

* Based in New York City or the Greater NYCarea

* Available to work
35hours per week from

June-August
2026

* Available Wednesday afternoons to participate in internship program workshops

* A self-starter who also thrives in team environments

* Passionate about arts, leadership, and community impact
