Are you a social media whiz with a passion for entertainment and streaming? Do you live and breathe Tik Tok, Instagram, and Reels? We are looking for a creative and driven Social Media Intern (40 hrs/week) to join our team this summer! If you're excited about creating viral content, engaging with a vibrant audience, and learning from the best in the business, this is your chance to gain hands-on experience in digital media and social strategy with a fast-growing brand.
You'll be at the heart of Decider's social strategy, helping to grow and engage our passionate audience.
Note:
This internship is scheduled to run from June 1, 2026 - August 7, 2026. Participants are expected to work full time hours and adhere to our on-site work schedule. Open to current juniors and seniors pursuing a BA, MA students, and recent graduates who completed their degree within the past year. Priority consideration will be given to applications received by March 15th.
What You'll Do:
+ Assist Decider's Social Media Director in optimizing and executing the site's social media strategy across platforms like Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, Twitter, and You Tube.
+ Gather and edit digital assets (marquee images, screen caps, GIFs, memes) for Decider's social platforms and website under the direction of our Digital Editorial Designer and Social Media Director.
+ Pitch and execute innovative content ideas for all of Decider's social platforms with a focus on Reels and Tik Tok.
+ Edit video content for Instagram, Tik Tok, and You Tube to create engaging, fun, and shareable posts.
+ Help track, report, and monitor social platform performance, using data to optimize content and strategy for maximum engagement.
+ Gain hands-on experience in content creation, video editing, and social media strategy with a brand that's redefining entertainment and streaming.
What We're Looking For:
+
Experience with established and emerging social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tik Tok, You Tube)-if you're all about social trends, we want you!
+ A familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Photoshop is a must-don't worry, we'll provide extra training to help you level up!
+ A love for all things streaming and an almost obsessive interest in pop culture. Bonus points for a deep knowledge of Bravo and reality TV.
+ Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt to Decider's fun and engaging brand voice.
+ Excellent time-management skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks while staying on top of deadlines.
+ A willingness to collaborate and be a team player who's eager to learn and contribute.
