About the Role:
The Social Media Coordinator supports day-to-day management of client social channels in partnership with Social Media Managers and Account Managers. This role is focused on content coordination, publishing, community management, and real-time engagement, ensuring brand objectives are consistently delivered through thoughtful, culturally relevant interaction.
The ideal candidate is deeply immersed in music and culture, fluent in social platforms, and quick to adapt to trends, algorithm shifts, and performance insights. This role requires flexibility, including nights and weekends, and the ability to step in when managers are unavailable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute daily publishing and community management across assigned accounts
- Assist with copywriting while adhering to established brand voice and editorial guidelines
- Adjust tone and style across multiple accounts as needed
- Proactively engage audiences and priority communities to drive meaningful interaction
- Insert the brand into timely cultural and trending conversations when appropriate
- Monitor trends across music, entertainment, lifestyle, and competitor landscapes to identify reactive opportunities
- Track platform best practices and recommend optimizations to improve engagement and KPIs
- Support social listening and reporting efforts, surfacing insights and opportunities
- Manage timelines and flag risks to ensure consistent, on-time delivery
- 1 to 3 years of experience in social media or community management within a brand or agency environment
- Strong copywriting and written communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Google Workspace and project management tools
- Availability for flexible working hours, including nights and weekends
- Passion for music, sport, and culture
