Job description
Since 1973, Vida Shoes International has been committed to becoming a global leader in the footwear industry. We are dedicated to designing, producing and marketing quality branded footwear using our expansive international resources. Our wealth of knowledge stems from the diversity of brands and successful products we have produced year after year. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and highly motivated individual to join our shipping team.
Compensation: $55k -$65k
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Process customer orders and facilitate through our third-party logistics company
- Act as team lead to mentor junior Shipping Coordinators; resolve issues
- Timely and accurate shipment of customer orders
- Maintain compliance with routing and all rules of shipping to retailers including:
- Department stores
- Discounters
- Independents/Specialty
- Boutiques
- Drop ship/Direct Consumer
- 1-3 Years of Customer Service experince
- Knowledge of EDI a plus
- Knowledge of complex ERP system a plus
- Experience managing client accounts
- Understanding of compliance of routing and shipping rules is a plus
- Computer skills with proficiency in Excel
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team
- Attention to detail and follow-up skills
