Job Title: Senior Architect

Location: 42 W 39th Street, 7th Floor, New York, NY 10018

Job Type: Full Time, Onsite Monday - Friday (8:30AM-5:15PM)

Job Description:
Velocity Architecture & Engineering DPC, a BRAVO Group company, is seeking a Senior Architect to join our team. This role is ideal for a licensed architect (RA) with proven experience delivering NYC public agency projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead project development from concept through construction administration, ensuring compliance with NYC codes and public agency requirements.
• Manage design and documentation processes using AutoCAD and Revit/BIM, maintaining a high level of detail and accuracy.
• Oversee junior staff, providing guidance on technical execution and project coordination.
• Navigate NYC zoning, building codes, Local Law 11, and ADA regulations to ensure project compliance.
• Manage project budgets and schedules while coordinating with consultants, contractors, and client representatives.
• Interface with NYC and state agencies, demonstrating a strong understanding of public sector project requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Registered Architect (RA) in NY.
• At least 10 years of experience in architectural design and project management.
• Direct experience with NYC and/or NY State public agency projects is required. K-12/Higher Education experience is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Salary

$140,000-$160,000 USD
