Position Summary

We are seeking a well-rounded Architect with strong design sensibility and technical proficiency to join our Architecture studio. The ideal candidate brings experience in core and shell, infrastructure, or new construction projects, and is comfortable supporting both early design phases and technical documentation.

This role is ideal for an emerging architect looking to develop their design voice while deepening their understanding of how buildings come together-from zoning and massing to detailing and construction. You will collaborate with design leaders, project architects, and technical staff on small-scale building projects and components of larger ones, with opportunities for increased responsibility over time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to concept development, façade studies, and building form exploration for new and existing building projects.
  • Support design and technical documentation in Revit across schematic design, design development, and construction document phases.
  • Participate in internal design charrettes, coordination meetings, and client-facing presentations.
  • Assist with consultant coordination (structural, MEP, envelope, code) and integration of systems into architectural designs.
  • Conduct code and zoning research; help ensure ADA and life safety compliance.
  • Participate in construction administration tasks such as submittal review, RFI responses, and site observations.
  • Maintain and organize design documentation, drawing sets, and project files.
  • Research materials, products, and assemblies to support design detailing.
  • Coordinate with in-house interiors team where applicable on holistic architectural packages.
  • Engage in studio culture through design discussions, mentoring, and technical learning.
Role Qualifications
  • Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • 5-10 years of professional experience in architectural design and documentation.
  • US Registered Architect required. LEED accreditation or knowledge of sustainable design practices desired.
  • Proficiency in Revit (required); experience with Rhino, Enscape, AutoCAD, 3D Modeling Software, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and project management tools (Newforma or Procore preferred).
  • Strong understanding of building codes, materials, and construction methods.
  • Strong knowledge of QA/QC process.
  • Understanding of the construction document and consultant coordination process.
  • Ability to take direction, work independently, and contribute to team deliverables.
  • Clear communication skills and ability to present design ideas graphically and verbally.
  • Interest in learning through built work and in contributing to a supportive studio environment.
Why Join Us? We offer:
  • A collaborative, hybrid work environment (3 days onsite).
  • A diverse, creative studio culture grounded in technical rigor and design excellence.
  • Opportunities for licensure support, mentorship, and advancement.
  • Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package.
If you are a technical expert with a passion for design execution, we'd love to hear from you!
