Description
Your Role
To provide a meaningful and holistic internship within our Technical Design team. This intern will provide support to the entire Technical Design team in any capacity needed for day-to-day functions of the business.

Your Impact
* Act as a positive, supportive, partner, fostering open communication in a cohesive team environment with all business partners, consistently demonstrating our shared values and competencies
* Own the organization of samples, closets, the check-in of samples and overall preparation for fit sessions
* Work closely to support Technical Design team, ensuring any business critical/hot topics are raised in a timely manner
* Respond quickly to change with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new ways to work and achieve objectives.
* Support Technical Designer to evaluate fit and construction of proto samples ensuring clear direction of design aesthetic, fit intent and construction.
* Attend and observe sessions on live model and communicate fit/construction corrections to vendors via written instruction, flat and on body measurements and digital images.
* Track and manage workflow and ensure seasonal calendar deadlines are met.
* Identify potential production, quality, and/or costing issues and provide recommendations and solutions.
* Maintain knowledge of product development process from concept through production, including pattern making, construction, costing, manufacturing, and materials.
* Participate in design, technical and cross-functional meetings.
* Participate and support new initiatives and projects.

Minimum Salary: $23.00
VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.
Qualifications
* Be Junior or Senior year of a 4-year degree program
* Technical education in terms of classes taken in garment fit and construction
* Knowledge of Bra/Swim/ or apparel pattern making, construction, fit and grading.
* Experience using a product development technical specification program (PDM, PLM, Centric etc).
* Experience using 3D software a bonus (Clo3D, Browzwear, etc.).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.).
* Organizational skills, ability to multitask, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Educational knowledge of factory, manufacturing techniques and machinery in terms of classes/ previous internships is a plus
