Responsibilities:
MJHS Hospice and Palliative Care is proud to announce the establishment of a new accredited fellowship training program:
The MJHS Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center. This robust training program will offer a unique training experience across the following diverse practice sites for over 1,200 hospice and palliative care patients:
- inpatient consultation service
- inpatient hospice and palliative care units (IPU's) and residences
- ambulatory palliative care
- long-term care
- community-based palliative care
- home hospice
Qualifications:
- Applicants must have completed an ACGME or American Osteopathic Association accredited residency in the following specialties:
Anesthesiology, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Psychiatry, Radiation Oncology, or Surgery. - Applicants must have passed USMLE Step 3 or an equivalent examination that qualifies for medical licensure (i.e., COMLEX).
- Applicants must have, or obtain an unrestricted medical license in New York State.
- Applicants must have graduated from an accredited MD/DO medical school.
