• Provide Comprehensive Primary Care:

• Patient Evaluation:
  • Review patient histories and conduct thorough physical examinations.
• Diagnostic Skills:
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and deliver appropriate treatment and patient care. Make referrals to specialists when necessary.
• Clinical Expertise:
  • Demonstrate quality clinical diagnostic skills, interpreting test results, and recommending suitable management, including preventive health recommendations.
• Medication Management:
  • Prescribe medications and formulate ongoing treatment and disease management plans.
• Relationship-Centered Care:
  • Provide patient-centered care, considering both psychosocial and physical needs.
• Record Keeping:
  • Collect and maintain accurate patient information, medical histories, reports, and examination results.
• Team Collaboration:
  • Communicate effectively with the clinical team to ensure the total delivery of quality care.
• Professional Development:
  • Participate in medical staff educational programs and meetings.

• Educational Background:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathy (DO), or foreign equivalent.
• Residency Training:
  • Completion of a three-year postgraduate medical training from a U.S. accredited residency program in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Experience:
  • Open to both experienced and newly trained providers.
• Board Certification:
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Family or Internal Medicine.
• Licensing:
  • Must possess a current, unrestricted New York State license.
• DEA Registration:
  • Must possess active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or be eligible for registration.
• Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment:
  • Must possess active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or be eligible to enroll.
• Life Support Certification:
  • BLS or ACLS required.
• Communication Skills:
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Technology Proficiency:
  • Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system and Microsoft Office.
