Physician​/Internal Medicine​/Family​/Internal Medicine Physician - Bilingual; Chinese

A New York City-based private organization is looking to add a Chinese-speaking, licensed Physician, with a Family and/or Internal Medicine background, to join their staff at one of their facilities on Staten Island.

Responsibilities:

The Family / Internal Medicine Physician will be responsible for:

• Diagnosing and treating acute illnesses and chronic diseases and conditions
• Prescribing or administering medications, therapy, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury
• Explaining procedures and discussing test results or prescribed treatments with patients
• Monitoring patients' conditions and progress and re-evaluating treatments, as necessary
• Providing health and wellness advice to patients, including diet, physical activity, hygiene, and disease prevention
• Immunizing patients against preventable diseases
• Maintaining detailed notes of appointments with patients, including comments, tests, and/or treatments prescribed, and test results
• Referring patients to other medical specialists, when necessary
• Preparing official health documents or records, when necessary
• Participating in network activities such as Provider meetings, Grand Rounds, and training sessions
• Performing other duties, as needed

• Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of New York
• Board Eligible / Certified in Family and/or Internal Medicine
• Bilingual (English and Cantonese or Mandarin)
• DEA license
