Position Description

Origis Energy is seeking an experienced M&A professional to lead and execute the company's utility scale solar and energy storage business growth strategies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sourcing, evaluating, structuring, negotiating, and closing attractive project and portfolio acquisitions and dispositions.

The position will serve as an integral leadership role as part of a high performing M&A team responsible for all aspects of profitable growth, expansion via mergers and acquisitions, and capital recycling. The role provides an opportunity to join a leading, vertically integrated renewable energy developer with an extensive portfolio of operating and under construction projects along with a growing pipeline of utility scale solar and energy storage projects.

The Director Mergers & Acquisitions, reporting to the Chief Investment Officer, is a regular, full-time position, and is eligible for our generous employee benefits package, including employer paid health insurance, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employer matching contributions, and other great benefits.

Key Responsibilities

* Execute the company's M&A strategies in alignment with growth and shareholder return objectives

* Lead the origination, analysis, structuring, documentation, and execution of utility scale solar and storage project acquisitions and dispositions

* Analyze different markets through an investment lens and make recommendations for M&A activity; such analysis would include an assessment of the political, regulatory, legal, and tax environment for a given market, along with supply/demand and other economic considerations

* Establish and maintain relationships with advisors, brokers, and developers to source attractive opportunities aligned with the company's business objectives and underwriting criteria
