Geotechnical Project Engineer

Geotechnical department is looking for a candidate to support our growing team in the New York southern tier area (not New York City). This employee may be an entry level up to an associate level. Salary is negotiable based on prior experience and may be a wider range than listed based on discussions with supervisor and division director.

Duties:

* Perform geotechnical field services, which may include subsurface exploration layouts, drilling and test pit inspections, geophysical surveys, and construction monitoring.

* Perform visual classification and laboratory testing of soil samples collected during the subsurface investigation.

* Prepare subsurface exploration logs for use in geotechnical evaluations and reports.

* Perform geotechnical evaluations and prepare report drafts for senior review.
