the role is a HYBRID schedule and mainly a DESIGN role
Key Responsibilities:
* Design mechanical systems, including heating, cooling, heat rejection, air and hydronic distribution systems, ventilation, air conditioning, building automation, and controls.
* Perform system design calculations and analyze mechanical system options using industry-standard engineering and energy modeling software.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes and standards.
* Prepare design documents, including basis of design reports, drawings (Revit), and specifications.
* Review design deliverables for technical accuracy and presentation quality.
* Coordinate work with architects and engineers from other disciplines.
* Contribute to mission-critical and healthcare projects.
Essential
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
* Minimum of 6 years of experience as an HVAC Design Engineer.
* Proficiency in Revit MEP and AutoCAD MEP.
* Experience working on commercial, industrial, and healthcare projects.
Additional Skills &
Qualifications:
* Self-motivated with strong collaborative problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills.
* EIT/PE certification is preferred.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $65.00/hr.
