Your Role

As an Associate in our New York City Facades Practice, you'll be a key leader on Sil and Mel's team, driving delivery of complex Facades projects across NYC and beyond. You'll steer design direction, coordinate with architects and contractors, mentor engineers, and serve as a trusted technical resource for clients while building toward future firm leadership.

What You'll Do

• Lead façade projects end-to-end from early concept through construction, setting design strategy and ensuring technical excellence on complex consulting assignments.
• Perform and oversee advanced façade analyses including structural behavior, thermal performance, moisture/condensation, air/water tightness, system movement, durability, and long-term maintenance.
• Provide technical direction and coordinate directly with architects, specialty contractors, fabricators, and suppliers to ensure integrated, buildable solutions.
• Build client relationships and mentor the team, reviewing and guiding junior engineers' analysis and detailing, and contributing to internal innovation around new façade materials, digital workflows, and emerging performance approaches.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or architecture;
  Master's degree preferred.
• PE and/or SE, or RA licensure.
• 8+ years of façade experience in a consulting environment, ideally with urban high-rise or other complex buildings
• Strong technical command of diverse façade with the ability to independently solve complex technical problems and guide project decisions.

Compensation
The rate for this position generally is $118,000 - $150,000 annually. This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the New York Pay Transparency Law. It is based on what a successful New York applicant might be paid and assumes that the successful candidate will be in New York or perform the position from New York. Similar positions located outside of New York will not necessarily receive the same compensation.

Actual pay rates may vary from the range, as permitted by New York Equal Pay Transparency Law. Compensation offers will be based on various factors, including operational needs, individual education, qualifications and experience, work location and comparison to employee already in the role, as well as other considerations permitted by law. A potential new employee's pay history will not be used in compensation decisions.
