Structural Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated structural engineer with over 4 years of experience to join our dynamic team in New York City. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in transportation planning, traffic analysis, and engineering design, focusing on urban environments and multi-modal transportation systems. This position offers the opportunity to work on exciting, high-impact transportation projects that directly contribute to the development and improvement of NYC's transportation infrastructure.

• Perform structural analysis and prepare design analyses on concrete foundations, steel towers, bridges, hanger systems, and other structural elements of a construction project.
• Prepare design computations, plans, and related construction documents.
• Prepare quantity and cost estimates.
• Prepare reports, studies, and permits for a variety of projects.
• Review drawings and documents to ensure compliance with design and production standards.

• 4+ years experience as a structural engineer working on bridges and transportation projects.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D or AutoCAD.
• Experience with roadway design, Micro Station, and project management.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience in structural design, structural analysis, and transportation engineering.
• EIT certification is required.

• Experience in land development, stormwater management, site development, grading, drainage, and site planning.

This is a minority-owned business that offers a hybrid office schedule with 2-3 days in the office. Our team works from 9 AM to 5 PM in a business casual environment. This role is 100 percent production-oriented and provides core services of design engineering, construction inspection, and program management to public and private organizations throughout the Midwest and Northeast. The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
