Site Reliability Engineer

Job Title

The engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing new systems and services in the areas of infrastructure monitoring, configuration management, and automation. Additional responsibilities include upgrading and/or re-designing existing infrastructure for improved performance and stability.

The ideal candidate will preferably have a computer science or engineering degree or comparable experience, strong understanding of Windows and/or Linux OS and networking fundamentals, experience with low-level debugging (such as process and packet tracing), strong programming and scripting ability, and excellent communication skills. This individual must be comfortable supporting applications and services in both Linux and Windows environments. Experience with enterprise storage and/or market data networks is also desirable.
