Position: Bridge EIT (experienced)

By joining our team as a Bridge EIT, you'll partner with an established team of professionals to work on bridge design projects and perform analysis and design for all structural aspects of transportation (highway and rail) projects.

We'll ask you to assist with planning, analysis, design, plan preparation, specification development and report writing.

We'll have you assist on transportation engineering projects to ensure that goals or objectives of these projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. One way you will continue to development professionally as a structural engineer, is when we ask you to be active in technical societies and be available to attend meetings or events outside normal working hours

- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering

- Professional years of post- graduate demonstrated experience on various types of bridges, to include analysis, design and plan development of new and rehabilitation projects is required

- Previously demonstrated project experience with NYSDOT and other transportation agencies

- Must have Engineer in Training (EIT).  Professional Engineer (PE) preferred

- Demonstrated proficient knowledge of AASTHOWare BrR and BrD, MDX, CSiBridge, Midas, or other structural design/analyses programs desirable.

- Must have a solid understanding of and practical experience applying the AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications to transportation structures.
