Established electronics company on Long Island is starting new projects and going through a growth phase. We are actively seeking candidates for several key positions in electronic hardware design, software development, mechanical engineering, test engineering, project engineering, systems engineering, etc. If you have applicable experience and are interested in a good opportunity, please contact us. Qualified candidates will have strong technical and project management skills.
Must have experience with the PCB design process-schematic capture, RTL simulation, component selection, requirements development, CPLD design, networking design. Experience with databus, ethernet, or other high-reliability electronics and software communications products are preferred.
Duties, responsibilities and qualifications include:
- Working with and managing external customers as well as multiple internal departments
- Manage subcontractors and outside consultants
- Report project status to management
- Review technical data and customer deliverables
- Hold individual contributors responsible for meeting budget and schedule requirements
- Experience with product qualification and working with outside facilities to perform qualification activities
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and reasoning ability
- Excellent verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have experience with the PCB design process-schematic capture, RTL simulation, component selection, requirements development, CPLD design, networking design.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering is required
- Approximately three to five years+ related engineering experience
- Experience in Military/Aerospace industry a plus
