Finance Intern

Barstool Sports is seeking a Finance Intern to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team for the summer. This role provides hands-on experience in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and data analysis, helping to support strategic decision-making across the company. This internship runs from May 26 to August 30 and is a hybrid role based out of our New York office.
What You'll Do

• Work with cross-functional teams to track revenue, expenses, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Analyze key financial and operational metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement
• Help develop financial models to assess business performance and support decision-making
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business operations
• Assist with financial systems and AI integration (e.g. Netsuite, Shopify)

What You Have

• Rising senior pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
• Working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets; financial modeling a plus
• Familiarity with financial statements and basic accounting principles
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• A passion for media, sports, and digital entertainment is a plus

Pay Rate: $17.00/hr
