We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance for a national portfolio of senior living and real estate assets. This role is highly visible and serves as a key financial partner to executive leadership, with direct impact on operational performance, system modernization, and enterprise growth.

Oversee all accounting functions including GL, AP/AR, payroll, and property-level accounting
Prepare and review consolidated GAAP financial statements; manage month-end and year-end close
Maintain accounting policies, internal controls, and audit readiness
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Oversee cash management, bank reconciliations, and capital expenditures
Lead finance systems strategy, implementations, and process improvements
Manage and develop accounting staff; partner cross-functionally with operations
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
7+ years of accounting experience; 3+ years in a Controller or senior leadership role
Property-level accounting experience required
Experience in senior living, assisted living, healthcare, multifamily, or multi-site operations preferred
Strong GAAP knowledge and internal controls expertise
Advanced Excel skills; experience with modern accounting systems (Net Suite, Ramp, Yardi, Sage Intacct)
Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
