Finance Manager

Description

We are looking for a Finance Manager to help shape business decisions through thoughtful planning, rigorous analysis, and clear financial storytelling. Based in New York, this role will partner with leadership to evaluate performance, improve forecasting accuracy, and translate complex data into practical recommendations. The ideal candidate brings strong modeling skills, a sharp analytical mindset, and the ability to build tools that support fast, informed decision-making in a Fin Tech environment.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and manage driver-based operating and financial models that support planning and guide strategic business decisions

- Oversee the annual budgeting cycle and prepare quarterly forecast updates that reflect changing business conditions

- Lead monthly business performance reviews by analyzing results, identifying trends, and presenting clear insights to senior leadership

- Create business case models and contribution margin analyses to support prioritization and resource allocation decisions

- Maintain and enhance financial dashboards, reporting frameworks, and analytical models to improve visibility and consistency

- Apply automation and AI-enabled workflows to streamline recurring financial analysis and reporting activities

- Partner on high-impact initiatives involving pricing strategy, capital planning, and make-versus-buy evaluations

Requirements - 3+ years of experience in finance, FP& A, corporate finance, or a related analytical role

- Strong expertise in financial modeling and quantitative analysis

- Hands-on experience managing annual budgets, forecasts, and variance reviews

- Ability to build dashboards and reporting tools that support business monitoring and decision-making

- Proven skill in translating financial data into concise recommendations for cross-functional leaders

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced Fin Tech environment with evolving priorities
