Head of Tax @ High Growth Firm

A client of ours is a Global Service Firm in the Multi-Media space that has opened a new role on their team. Seeking an experienced Tax Professional with 13+years to be the lead for the firm. This professional will work with Front Office Sales, Operations, and Finance along with internal stakeholders. Responsibilities include Tax Compliance, Reporting, M&A Tax Diligence, Tax Risk and Strategy.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for Strategic Tax Planning and Tax Reporting supporting Executives and Finance personnel.
• Manage Tax Compliance, Estimates, Extensions, and Partner Distributions including tax issues relating to partner transactions.
• Assist with Buy-Side tax diligence for M&A transactions and tax forecasting
• Assist with tax developments (ex. legislation, regulations, changes in business operations) and communicate the necessary recommendations to management.
• Proactively identify all tax requirements and ensure compliance.
• Evaluation of tax impacts, as well as work with outside advisors to recommend and execute the optimal structure tax for the company.

Requirements:

• 13+ years of tax experience with at least five years in a public accounting firm
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required, Master's is a plus
• CPA or JD is preferred.
• Partnership/ Pass through Entity is a plus
• Experienced with Partner Capital Account Models and Owners Stock Equity Accounts is a plus
