Medicaid; Finance Clerk

We are a 5-star, Skilled Nursing Facility, in Manhattan. We seek a full time Medicaid Clerk. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of Medicaid, social security, retirement, & pension guidelines. Must have good interpersonal skills in order to meet with patients & families to review financial information. Will prepare & assist in submitting Medicaid applications and recertifications, as well as following up with social security letters, collection of resident co-payments, and all other financial matters pertaining to the patients.

An Associate’s Degree in a related field is preferred or previous finance, medical billing or Medicaid processing experience strongly preferred.

Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred.
