The Department of Psychiatry at CUIMC is seeking licensed clinical social workers assigned to provide clinical services with the Faculty Practice Organization (FPO) in Manhattan. Positions are available for multiple specialties.
Primary responsibilities involve conducting diagnostic evaluations of patients, as well as individual and group therapy utilizing evidence-supported treatments. Ideal applicants should have previous experience providing outpatient treatment, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well across disciplines and function effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Candidates will have opportunities to attend case conferences, peer supervision, and Grand Rounds didates will work closely with a clinical team, including other social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse-practitioners. Opportunities may exist for clinical supervision and teaching.
This role includes opportunities for additional compensation aligned with the department's comprehensive compensation plan.
