An exciting opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room, based in New York, NY. This contract position is ideal for skilled RNs who are proficient in delivering high-quality perioperative care in dynamic surgical settings.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms and ensure all necessary surgical instruments and equipment are sterilized and ready.
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams during various procedures, maintaining strict adherence to safety and aseptic protocols.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and condition throughout surgeries.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care before, during, and after operations.
• Document all perioperative activities accurately and efficiently in patient records.

Qualifications and Desired

Experience:

• Valid RN license with a focus on Operating Room nursing.
• Proven experience working in fast-paced surgical environments.
• Strong knowledge of sterile techniques, surgical procedures, and patient monitoring.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
