Payroll Specialist

Description

Dynamic New York City organization is looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist. If you have 2+ years of payroll processing experience, a background managing payroll for work forces of 500+ employees-including multi-state payroll-and are seeking a collaborative, fast-paced environment, we'd love to connect with you!

Key Responsibilities:

+ Accurately process end-to-end payroll for 500+ employees on a bi-weekly basis

+ Manage multi-state payroll, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations

+ Oversee payroll data entry, salary changes, deductions, and adjustments

+ Maintain and reconcile payroll records, reports, and audit documentation

+ Address employee payroll inquiries in a timely manner

+ Collaborate with HR and Finance on reporting, benefits administration, and year-end processes

+ Ensure accurate processing of bonuses, commissions, overtime, and special pay

+ Union payroll experience is a strong plus

Requirements

+ 2+ years of payroll processing experience, including organizations with 500+ employees

+ Demonstrated experience with multi-state payroll

+ Thorough knowledge of payroll regulations and best practices

+ Familiarity with leading payroll software (ADP, Paychex, Workday, etc. a plus)

+ Union payroll experience highly desired, but not required
