Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Associate, Legal Affairs to support our legal team across contract drafting and negotiation, contract lifecycle management, legal operations, and process optimization. The ideal candidate brings strong substantive contracting experience, sound legal judgment, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
* Prepare, and audit initial drafts of influencer campaign agreements, track pending matters, and prepare execution copies
* Serve as a resource for Operations teams' inquiries about governing terms of their influencer campaign agreements
* Organize and maintain influencer contracts in our contract management system
* Work with Legal team to assess advertising claims substantiation, review influencer-created content, prepare disclosures, disclaimers, and support sweepstakes, contests, and promotional offers
* Learn and implement the company's review and approval protocols
* Liaise with the Operations teams to track and manage contract status and related reporting, maintain and track reports for all assigned projects and ensure that agreements are executed in a timely manner
* Manage incoming requests for contracts, track pending matters, prepare execution copies and fully executed copies for distribution
* Additional responsibilities as delegated by the General Counsel
Qualifications
* 5
-7 years of relevant legal experience, ideally gained at a law firm, talent agency, or consumer brand, media company, or technology platform.
* Experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing contracts, including commercial agreements, creator/influencer agreements, vendor agreements, and related deal
* Strong understanding of legal operations and process optimization, with the ability to identify inefficiencies and implement practical solutions.
* Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
* Comfort working cross-functionally with business, creative, and operations teams.
* Intellectual property experience (copyright, trademark, licensing, and usage rights)
Additional information
Compensation Range: $85,000-$90,000 annually. This range reflects the Company's expected pay for this position at the time of posting. Consistent with applicable law, final compensation will be determined based on the applicant's skills, qualifications, and experience, as well as the requirements of the position. The Company reserves the right to adjust this pay range at any time.
