Job Description :

Pay Range: $22hr - $24hr

  • The Computer Support Specialist provides technical assistance, troubleshooting, and end-user support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • This role involves installation, maintenance, documentation, training, and collaboration with users, vendors, and IT staff to ensure reliable and effective technology solutions.
Responsibilities:
  • Install, administer, test, maintain, deploy, and configure hardware and software.
  • Diagnose and repair computers, printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices.
  • Provide desktop support for Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Pro.
  • Support Windows 10 desktop environments, VPN access, and remote technical support.
  • Assist users with virtual meeting tools including Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Web Ex.
  • Participate in meetings with users, vendors, consultants, and IT staff to evaluate IT solution options and recommend appropriate platforms.
  • Prepare and maintain procedural manuals, online help instructions for users, and technical documentation for IT staff.
  • Provide and administer training on hardware and software technologies.
Experience:
  • Three years of experience in Information Technology and customer service.
  • Experience providing IT customer support and end-user training.
  • Experience with computer installation, diagnosis, and repair.
  • Experience with network and standalone printer installation, diagnosis, and repair.
  • Experience troubleshooting scanners and peripheral devices.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with virtual meeting tools.
  • Experience with Windows 10 desktop support.
  • Experience with VPN and remote technical support.
  • Experience supporting Adobe Pro.

Qualification And Education:
  • Associate s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Systems, Information Technology, or Cybersecurity.
