QA Test Engineer

We are seeking an experienced QA Lead / Senior Quality Engineer with strong automation expertise to oversee quality assurance processes across enterprise applications. This role requires hands-on experience with SPOCK framework, Java, REST Assured, Postman, Jira, No

SQL, and end-to-end testing. The ideal candidate will combine technical depth in automation and API testing with leadership capabilities to mentor QA team members, drive testing strategies, and ensure high-quality software delivery across complex, multi-tier and microservices-based environments.

• Pay rate :$70/hr on w2 to $75/hr on w2

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and drive quality assurance processes for all products, ensuring adherence to standards, procedures, and best practices.
• Provide direction, mentoring, and coaching to QA team members to ensure successful delivery.
• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, strategies, and test cases.
• Troubleshoot defects, report findings, and follow through to resolution.
• Develop and implement automation strategies to enhance regression coverage and execution efficiency.
• Determine integrated testing solutions across cross-functional programs and organizational dependencies.
• Collaborate with Program Managers, Development Leads, and Architects to identify test scenarios for large-scale initiatives.
• Develop test data and environment strategies to support performance, scalability, reliability, usability, and security objectives.
• Analyze test results, prepare metrics, and present detailed test reports to stakeholders.
• Communicate testing progress proactively through governance calls, stand-ups, escalations, and weekly status reports.
• Coordinate across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and facilitate certification for production deployment.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including hands-on quality engineering.
• 2-4 years of experience leading and managing QA resources.
• Strong understanding of multi-tier web applications and microservices architecture.
• Working knowledge of databases with ability to write basic SQL and No

• Proven end-to-end testing experience.

Preferred:

• Experience with Selenium, TestNG, JavaScript, Pact, Jenkins, SOASTA, Oracle.
• Experience writing automation scripts using Java and SPOCK automation framework.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and requirements analysis skills.
• Familiarity with full SDLC and test cycles (Unit, Functional, Regression, System, Performance, UAT).
• Excellent written communication and documentation skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively.
