Project Manager, IT Project Manager

Akkodis is seeking a Project Manager for a Contract with a client in New York, NY. Candidate must have strong expertise in managing large-scale infrastructure demand and procurement as a key qualification for this position.

Rate Range: $37/hour to $49/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Project Manager job responsibilities include:

• Oversees infrastructure demand planning and procurement to support large-scale Wealth Management initiatives.
• Coordinates infrastructure enablement for application teams, ensuring timely configuration and environment readiness.
• Leads cost-optimization efforts through architecture alignment, rightsizing, and elimination of redundant systems.
• Engages daily with platform owners across multiple platforms to assess project needs and consult on infrastructure requirements.
• Streamlines intake workflows by improving forecasting tools, enhancing features, and aligning Jira items for progress tracking.
• Partners with senior leadership to present budget insights and contributes as a functional product owner in defining modernization roadmaps.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong background in infrastructure demand management, procurement, and cost-optimization across large enterprise environments.
• Proven ability to collaborate with senior leadership, streamline intake workflows, and support product roadmaps within modernization initiatives.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $49.00 per hour
