Job Description & How to Apply Below
At Elise
AI, we're improving the industries that matter most: housing and healthcare. Everyone needs a place to live and access to quality healthcare, yet both are often harder to secure than they should be.
By integrating AI agents deeply into existing workflows, we make them more efficient, reduce costs, and improve the experience for everyone.
- Housing:
We simplify how renters tour apartments, sign leases, submit maintenance requests, and stay connected with their property team-bringing everything they need for their home into one place.
- Healthcare:
We make it easy to schedule appointments, complete intake forms, and we help patients communicate with providers, so everyone can focus on health instead of paperwork.
AI, organizations reduce manual work, improve accessibility, and deliver a seamless experience across essential services. We recently raised a $250 million Series E round led by Andreessen Horowitz to accelerate this mission.
About The Role
Elise
AI's Finance team is devoted to driving data-driven decision making across the company. We partner closely with every part of the business - building targets, setting budgets, and helping leaders execute against plans - with reporting that reaches the Executive Team and Board of Directors. As Elise
AI scales, the Finance team plays an increasingly critical role in ensuring that our growth is both fast and deliberate.
As a Data Analyst, you'll be instrumental in building, analyzing, and reporting on large datasets across a wide range of projects. You'll bring quantitative rigor, sharp attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset to produce insights that move the business forward. Day to day, that means owning core data infrastructure, partnering cross-functionally to improve data quality, and distilling complex analyses into clear recommendations that inform our biggest decisions.
This role reports to the VP of Finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Finance datasets and reporting within Hex
- Own governance of our core metrics, ensuring data is clean, consistent, and easily accessible across the team
- Automate Finance deliverables to enable the function to scale alongside a growing and maturing company
- Partner with Data Engineers to strengthen the availability, integrity, and reliability of data pipelines
- Lead comprehensive, prioritization-driven analyses that surface insights and drive financial outcomes
- Distill complex findings into clear, compelling data stories for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Support executive decision making with cross-functional data, insights, and recommendations
We're scaling fast, solving real client problems with precision and ambition. Here, you own your impact; full autonomy, no micromanagement, no fluff.
We hire the best, expect the best, and give you the masterclass of your career. It's hard, it's intense, and it's the most rewarding work you'll ever do. If you're hungry, driven, and ready to build something massive, climb aboard.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Math, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, Machine Learning or other quantitative field
- 2+ years industry experience in an analytics focused role
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience with Python or other coding languages a plus
- Ability to complete analysis project independently and as part of a team
- Strong storytelling: distill interesting and hard-to-find insights into a compelling, concise data story
- Ability to communicate effectively and manage relationships with partners coming from both technical and non-technical backgrounds
- Ability and experience in extracting insights from data, and summarizing learnings / takeaways
- Experience with dashboarding/data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Sigma, Hex or similar)
- Basic understanding of experimental design (such as A/B experiments) and statistical methods
- Excellent time management and organizational skill
- Willingness to work in person at our office 4-5 days a week
Growth and impact. It's not often that you can get in on the ground floor of a funded (unicorn!) startup that's scaling so fast. That means that instead of following a playbook, you'll be writing it. Every single day you will be challenged to identify how we can scale and execute on it. You'll learn what works when you succeed and what doesn't when you fail.
Either way, the rest of the team will be here to support you.
Benefits
In addition to the growth and impact you'll have at Elise
AI, we offer competitive salaries along with the following benefits:
- Equity in the company
- Medical, Dental and Vision premiums covered at 100%
- Fully paid parental leave
- Commuter benefits
- 401k benefits
- Fitness & home services stipend to cover part of your expenses so you can focus on what matters
- A collaborative in-office environment with an open floor plan, fully stocked kitchen, and all meals covered in the office
- Unlimited vacation and paid holidays
- We'll cover…
