Our client is seeking a Help Desk Engineer to support enterprise users by delivering responsive, high-quality technical assistance. This role requires strong hands-on experience with core IT systems, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused approach. This is a hybrid position based in New York City, NY.
Starting at $30/hr.
Help Desk Engineer's Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide Tier 2 IT support to end users in an enterprise environment
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows OS, Active Directory, and O365
- Manage, track, and resolve support requests using the Service Now ticketing system
- Perform user account management, access provisioning, and permissions in Active Directory
- Support device management and software deployment using LANDesk
- Communicate clearly with users regarding issue status and resolution timelines
- At least 4 years of professional experience in IT Support or Help Desk roles within enterprise environments
- Hands-on experience with Service Now ticketing systems
- Strong knowledge of Windows, Active Directory, O365, and LANDesk
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail
