Cabling Technician
Immediate need for a talented Cabling Technician. This is a 12+ Months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in NYC, NY (Hybrid). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested. Pay Range: $30 - $34 /hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Requirements and Technology
Experience:
- Travel Across the EST
- 6+ years of Infrastructure Technician / Structured Cabling experience
- 3+ years of Retail Environment experience (Must Have)
- 3+ years as an Onsite Team Lead
- Experience installing network devices such as Access Points, Routers, Switches, and WLAN equipment
- Structured Cabling (Cat5, Cat6, Fiber Optic)
- Low Voltage Cabling Installation, Termination & Testing
- Troubleshooting Cabling Infrastructure
- Site Surveys, Documentation & Quality Audits
- Client Interaction and Project Coordination
- Cable Tray, Racks, Pathways, and Network Infrastructure Installation
- BICSI (INST1, INSTC/INSTF, TECH)
- CNET CNCI
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to travel to client sites
- Strong communication and leadership skills
