Business Analyst
Location:
New York, NY 10007 Duration: 2 years Contract
Requirements:
- 84 months of requirements management experience in application of business non-functional and functional documentation/UI (User Interface)& UX (User experience)
- 84 months of requirements methodology experience in implementation of requirement analysis methodology using Agile, Scrum and/or Lean to capture business need, setting objectives, goals and outcomes.
- 84 months of business process modeling experience in documenting process flows using swim lanes and/or entity diagrams flows and process flow tools like Visio.
- 60 months quality assurance analysis experience, testing and validating requirements.
- 84 months of data analysis experience using SQL, PowerBI, Tableau and/or Excel.
- 84 months of problem-solving experience with identifying and defining the business problems which results in solution implementation.
- 60 months experience with additional methodologies like IIBA (Intl Institute of Business Analysis), Six Sigma, AIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control).
- 12 months experience with using test automation tools such as Selenium, Subject7, and/or Mabl.
- Bachelor's degree in computer associate field or information technology
Responsibilities:
- Gather and document requirements from stakeholders for enhancements to the discover Workforce and Employer Portal systems.
- Analyze business processes related to the WIOA programs and recommend improvements or new systems to better support program goals.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
- Act as a liaison between client's program staff and the IT development team to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.
- Conduct thorough testing of the systems, including functional, regression, and integration testing, to identify and resolve any issues before deployment.
- Work with stakeholders to plan, organize, and manage the UAT process, ensuring that all key functionalities of the discover Workforce and Employer Portal systems meet the business requirements.
