Junior Okta Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Okta Junior Engineer with hands-on experience in Okta to support Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) operations and integrations.

The role involves supporting secure and seamless digital identity experiences for external users while assisting with day-to-day identity administration, troubleshooting, and application onboarding activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and support the Okta platform for customer identity and access management (CIAM) use cases.
  • Configure and manage user lifecycle activities including user onboarding, MFA setup, password resets, account recovery, and access support.
  • Support SSO integrations with web applications and SaaS platforms using SAML, OAuth2, and OIDC.
  • Assist with application onboarding, group management, role assignments, and access provisioning activities.
  • Monitor authentication and access-related issues, perform basic troubleshooting, and coordinate resolution with engineering teams when required.
  • Support day-to-day IAM operational activities including ticket handling, user support, and documentation updates.
  • Maintain Okta configurations, policies, and operational procedures in line with organizational standards.
  • Work closely with application teams, support teams, and security teams during integrations and production support activities.

Required Qualifications :

  • Minimum 1 years of hands-on experience in Okta administration or IAM support.
  • Basic understanding of authentication and federation technologies such as SAML, OAuth2, OIDC, and MFA.
  • Experience supporting identity and access management operations in enterprise environments.
  • Good troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced support and operations environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to CIAM implementations or customer-facing applications.
  • Familiarity with SCIM provisioning and user lifecycle management.
  • Experience working with ticketing and support processes.
  • Basic understanding of security and access management best practices.
