Senior GMI Support

Local to IL, NY, NJ Only (Once in a month travel)

Full-Time Only (NO C2C)

Must have: FCM, Futures and options experience SQL GMI iSeries

• Architects, manages, monitors, supports and troubleshoots all systems related to clearing
• Works with the business to understand their requirements and help develops solutions
• Primary knowledge expert for GMI Application and the GMI Lifecycle
• Actively participate in GMI Team Meetings and Project/Business Meetings
• Evaluates application software and provides management with recommendations
• Creates and maintains written documentation and diagrams as required for supported systems
• Manages the change process for supported systems
• Installs application and system patches
• Provides support off-hours and remotely when needed
• Insures security policy is followed and valid

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field
• Strong Communications Skills and prioritization skills
• Experience with DB2 and SQL
• Experienced with the OS400 Operating System and iSeries Hardware
• 5 years experience supporting clearing systems of a major FCM
• Familiarity with file structures and structure of the GMI Application as well as the GMI Application Processing
• Experience in IT project planning, execution, co-ordination and documentation processes
• Capability to document GMI processes and improve knowledge sharing within the GMI Team
• Broad-based knowledge of interaction of all asset classes on the GMI systems and core processes
• Highly knowledgeable of core GMI maintenance utilities, profiles, tables, & parameters used to customize the GMI Application and the resulting desired outputs
• Can work independently with minimal supervision while still being available to step in and support other team members and/or other departments when needed.
