Agile Coach

The Agile Coach will coach, mentor, and guide product teams, leaders, and stakeholders through Agile adoption and enterprise transformation initiatives across MTA-IT. The role is responsible for advancing large-scale Agile transformation efforts by promoting Agile principles, fostering cross-functional collaboration, driving continuous improvement, and improving enterprise Agile maturity. The coach will partner with teams to enhance delivery practices, align outcomes with business objectives, and support organizational excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Coach, mentor, and guide product teams, leaders, and stakeholders on Agile principles and practices.
  • Lead and support enterprise-wide Agile transformation initiatives.
  • Coach teams on Scrum, Kanban, and Agile methodologies.
  • Facilitate Agile training sessions, workshops, and coaching engagements.
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Implement Agile best practices, tools, and delivery frameworks.
  • Utilize Agile metrics to improve team performance and decision-making.
  • Support organizational change management and cultural transformation.
  • Partner with business and technology teams to align Agile practices with strategic objectives.
  • Influence teams and stakeholders without direct managerial responsibilities.

Required/Preferred

Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of software development experience.
  • At least 8 years of Agile coaching experience.
  • Experience coaching Agile product transformations in large, complex enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on experience leading enterprise-wide Agile transformation initiatives.
  • Strong background in change management, organizational design, and cultural transformation.
  • Experience with Scrum, Kanban, and Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Certified Agile Coach (ICP-ACC, ICP-ATF), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), or equivalent certifications.
