10 is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Associate for a hybrid position (3 days onsite per week) with a Major Financial Services Firm located in New York, NY. This is a 5 month contract opportunity.

We are looking for a professional to update vendors and process invoices through a workflow approval process. This role requires knowledge of SAP, strong communication skills, and a thorough understanding of 1099 requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Perform due diligence for onboarding new vendors
• Process invoices through Esker
• Verify the coding is correct
• Email vendors

Requirements:

• Knowledge and experience working within a large department in a corporate atmosphere
• Effective communication and good interpersonal skills
• Self-motivation with the ability to escalate issues as necessary
• Effective teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently
• Knowledge and experience of SAP
• Experience using a procurement system
• Understanding 1099 reporting requirements and the ability to review and process 1099s

Pay range: $32.24 - $42.24 per hour
