Technical Project Manager

Polimorphic builds AI-powered tools that streamline the work of state and local government and improve the resident experience. From automating services with chatbots and voice lines to digitizing forms and improving internal workflows, we help governments serve their communities better. We are a mission-driven team focused on delivering practical, impactful solutions to a sector that has been underserved by software for decades.

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to lead customer deployments across the Polimorphic platform and deliver a seamless, value-driven onboarding experience. You will sit with government staff to understand how their departments actually work, translate that into a structured implementation plan, configure the platform to match, and carry the project from kickoff through go-live and adoption.

This is hands-on work with real range. In a single week you might run a discovery session with a county clerk, map fields for an integration with a permitting system, tune an AI voice line, and walk an IT director through a test plan. You will work closely with Customer Success, Sales, Product, and Engineering to deliver launches that make governments successful and confident in what they bought.

Project

Management

Own the end-to-end implementation of Polimorphic for a portfolio of city, county, and state customers, from kickoff through go-live and into adoption of additional modules and features.

Build and maintain the project plan for every engagement: phases, milestones, dependencies, and written success criteria.

Run a steady cadence with each customer, including standing working sessions, written status updates, and a clear picture of what is outstanding and who owns it.

Carry several implementations at once and keep all of them moving.

Surface risks early and bring a recommended path forward alongside the problem.

Keep your projects documented well enough that a teammate could pick one up from your notes.

Customer Onboarding

Lead discovery sessions with government staff to document current processes, requirements, constraints, and goals.

Turn discovery into configuration, content, and data setup plans, and confirm them in writing with the customer.

Run testing and user acceptance with customer staff, so issues surface before go-live rather than after.

Train administrators and end users, and leave behind documentation they can maintain without you.

Get every customer to real value on their first live use cases, then hand off cleanly to their Customer Success Manager.

Technical Configuration

Build customer-specific workflows in our no-code environment, including form design, routing logic, approvals, and notifications.

Configure and tune Polimorphic AI agents on each customer's content and use cases, validate quality, and troubleshoot through build and go-live.

Partner with engineering on integrations with government systems such as permitting platforms, ERPs, and legacy databases. You own the field mapping, the data requirements, the test plan, and end-to-end validation.

Use AI tooling to make your own work faster and more consistent.

Working Across the Company

Partner with Sales on the handoff at kickoff and with Customer Success at activation, so nothing about the customer gets lost between teams.

Work with Product and Engineering to define configuration requirements and confirm feature readiness before committing dates to a customer.

Bring what you learn in the field back to the team so the next implementation goes better than the last one.

What We Are Looking For

Required:

3 to 6 years in SaaS implementation, onboarding, technology adoption consulting, or technical project management.

A project management approach you can walk through in detail, with the artifacts to match: plans, risk tracking, status reporting, and go-live readiness.

Experience running several projects at the same time.

Comfort with hands-on technical work: APIs and integrations, field mapping and data imports, permissions, and no-code workflow builders.

Clear written and verbal communication with everyone from frontline staff to department directors.

Practical use of AI tools in your day-to-day work, and the curiosity to go further than a chat window.

Willingness to travel 10 to 15 percent for kickoffs, training, and go-lives.

Nice to have:

Experience in Gov Tech, or delivering into the public sector.

Implementation experience in a regulated or procurement-driven environment.

Hands-on integration work with systems such as Tyler, Accela, Open Gov, or comparable government platforms.

PMP or a similar certification.

Why You Will Like It Here

A mission that matters. The work shows up in how residents get answers from their city or county.

Real ownership. You will own your customers and their outcomes, and that work is visible across the company.

Variety. Every jurisdiction runs differently, and no two implementations look the same.

A collaborative, transparent culture that takes feedback in both directions.
