Sr. Desktop Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Desktop Engineer to join a prestigious international law firm client. The engineer will play a key role in supporting, maintaining, and enhancing the firm's virtual desktop infrastructure while helping lead the ongoing migration from on-premises Citrix environments to Azure Virtual Desktop and Citrix DaaS solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering and operational support for Citrix, Azure Virtual Desktop, and end-user computing environments.
• Support active ticket queues, escalations, incidents, service requests, and platform-related troubleshooting efforts.
• Assist with the firm's migration from Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops to Azure Virtual Desktop and Citrix DaaS platforms.
• Design, implement, and optimize virtual desktop architecture with a focus on scalability, security, performance, and resiliency.
• Manage and troubleshoot FSLogix profiles, application delivery platforms, authentication, and endpoint technologies.
• Develop and maintain Power Shell automation scripts to improve operational efficiency and platform management.
• Partner with Infrastructure, Security, Networking, and Service Delivery teams to deliver enterprise-wide solutions.
• Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures while providing knowledge transfer to internal teams.

This is a 3-month contract position that will either be extended or converted into a full-time position.

Compensation $85/hr exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, level of experience, geographic location, education, and consideration of internal equity.
