IT Infrastructure Administrator

Description We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Administrator to support and strengthen our technology environment in New York, New York. This role is responsible for maintaining reliable cloud, network, and server operations while helping improve security, automation, and end-user support. The ideal candidate brings hands-on infrastructure experience, sound technical judgment, and the ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee day-to-day administration of cloud platforms, including compute services, access controls, security configurations, and system monitoring.

- Build and refine automation tools that streamline deployments, reduce manual effort, and improve recurring operational tasks.

- Maintain wired and wireless network environments to ensure stable connectivity, strong performance, and appropriate safeguards.

- Support server operations and contribute to resilience planning through disaster recovery, business continuity, and cybersecurity initiatives.

- Manage user accounts, permissions, and enterprise security policies to protect systems and data.

- Assess emerging technologies and propose solutions that improve operational effectiveness, user experience, and information protection.

- Produce and update technical records such as system documentation, standard procedures, troubleshooting references, and change logs.

- Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and service providers on projects, escalations, contract matters, and service delivery expectations.

- Provide timely technical assistance to employees and contribute to infrastructure upgrades, deployments, migrations, and decommissioning efforts. Requirements - At least 3 years of practical experience in IT support, systems administration, or infrastructure engineering.

- Ability to work onsite in New York, New York and provide direct assistance for users and core technology systems.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical information clearly to varied audiences.

- Demonstrated strength in diagnosing issues, analyzing root causes, and resolving technical problems efficiently.

- Ability to manage responsibilities independently while collaborating productively in a team-based environment.

- Experience supporting infrastructure and network initiatives such as implementations, upgrades, migrations, or retirements.

- Working knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals, including endpoint protection, identity and access management, multi-factor authentication, and secure administration practices.

- Familiarity with areas such as AWS, network administration, desktop support, infrastructure automation, infrastructure as code, vendor management, and IT project coordination. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
