Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst

We are looking for a Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst to support end users in a fast-paced Marketing/PR environment in New York, New York. This is a Contract position focused on preparing and deploying laptops, coordinating directly with employees, and ensuring devices are fully configured, updated, and ready for use. The ideal candidate brings strong desktop support experience, clear communication skills, and the ability to resolve technical issues efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, image, and deploy laptops for end users according to established technical standards.
• Coordinate with employees to schedule device setup, delivery, and support appointments in New York, New York.
• Perform operating system updates, software installations, patching, and configuration tasks to keep devices current and secure.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and user access issues and provide timely resolutions for desktop support requests.
• Manage and respond to service desk tickets, documenting work performed and updating request status accurately.
• Support user account and access-related tasks within Active Directory as needed.
• Use Microsoft SCCM and related tools to assist with software deployment, system maintenance, and endpoint support.
• Verify that newly deployed devices are functioning properly and meet user and business requirements before handoff.
