Salary: Up to $150,000 per year (negotiable - based on experience)
Our client is a growing, multi-state civil litigation firm operating across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. The firm handles a high-volume caseload focused on contract enforcement, judgment enforcement, motion practice, and negotiated settlements.
With a strong emphasis on technology and efficiency, the firm leverages modern litigation tools, streamlined workflows, and automation to optimise performance and reduce administrative burden. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking and expanding litigation practice.
The firm is seeking an experienced and dependable Civil Litigation Attorney who can independently manage matters from initial filing through resolution and post-judgment enforcement.
The successful candidate will operate within a structured yet flexible environment, with hybrid working options available for the right individual.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage a high-volume litigation caseload from filing through judgment and resolution
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, affidavits, and other litigation documents
- Conduct motion practice and written advocacy
- Handle post-judgment enforcement proceedings
- Negotiate and resolve high-volume settlements
- Conduct limited court appearances as required
- Collaborate closely with support staff to streamline case workflows
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely case progression
- Admitted attorney in good standing (New York required; additional admissions a plus)
- Minimum of 3 years' litigation experience
- Proven ability to manage cases independently from filing to judgment
- Strong motion practice and written advocacy skills
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong time management and case management capabilities
- Comfortable working with modern legal technology and case management systems
