As a Corporate M&A Attorney in the Corporate M&A Legal Group, you will play a pivotal role in supporting JPMorgan Chase strategic transactions. You will collaborate with business representatives, investment professionals, and other legal experts to drive successful mergers, acquisitions, and investments.

* Job Responsibilities:

* + Manage and advise on M&A transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures.
+ Review and negotiate confidentiality agreements, term sheets, and letters of intent.
+ Conduct and coordinate legal due diligence reviews.
+ Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documentation, including merger and acquisition agreements.
+ Coordinate and participate in transaction closings.
+ Advise on legal matters related to transactions and provide strategic guidance.
+ Liaise with business representatives and investment professionals.
+ Engage and manage outside counsel for transaction-related matters.
+ Interpret and advise on existing and proposed laws, rules, and regulations.
+ Provide legal advice to the Board of Directors and business functions.
+ Manage dispute resolution and enforcement matters.
** Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and
Skills:

* + JD degree or educational equivalent required.
+ Minimum of 5 years of post-JD experience in Mergers & Acquisitions.
+ Strong interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
+ Proven experience in drafting and negotiating complex legal documents.
+ Compliance with relevant licensing requirements for the jurisdiction.
+ Successful completion of a conflicts of interest clearance review.

+ Strong writing skills and attention to detail.
+ Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

+ Strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking.
