Position Overview

Our client's corporate practice advises technology and life sciences companies across all stages of growth, from emerging start-ups to global publicly traded organizations. The firm boasts one of the most respected technology-focused mergers & acquisitions groups globally, consistently earning top-tier rankings from Chambers USA and The Legal 500. In recent years, the practice has completed transactions totaling more than $750 billion, including major acquisition programs for leading serial acquirers and strategic exits for high-growth companies.

We are seeking a Mid-Level Corporate Associate (3-5 years) with significant M&A experience to join this elite practice. The role is available in any of the following offices:

• Primary locations:
  San Francisco, Silicon Valley, New York
• Additional locations:
  Seattle, Santa Monica, Washington, D.C., Boston

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on complex domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, joint ventures, and other strategic corporate matters.
• Support fast-moving deal teams serving high-growth and innovative companies in the technology and life sciences sectors.
• Draft and negotiate transaction documents, manage due diligence work streams, and contribute to all phases of deal execution.
• Collaborate directly with partners and clients, providing strategic guidance throughout the transaction lifecycle.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of M&A experience in a leading corporate law firm.
• Active Bar membership in the jurisdiction of the office where you intend to work or eligibility to waive in within 3-6 months (note: sitting for the bar exam is not supported).
• Outstanding academic credentials, along with excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience with (or strong interest in) technology and life sciences clients is highly preferred.
