Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Representing the company in complex general liability claims and litigation.
2. Conducting thorough legal research and analysis to advise on potential liabilities, risks, and legal issues.
3. Drafting and reviewing pleadings, motions, and other court documents.
4. Taking and defending depositions, preparing witnesses, and managing discovery processes.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the New York State Bar.
3. A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on insurance defense.
4. Proven experience in drafting pleadings and taking depositions.
5. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
