Maintenance Supervisor - Beaver Pond

Duties/Responsibilities

Supervise assigned maintenance staff and maintain cleanliness of interior and exterior of the facility. Make repairs requiring skills such as carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical. Responsible for preventative maintenance of cooling/heating and domestic hot water systems. Ensure that the periodic maintenance and inspection of elevators, sprinkler systems, fire alarm system and fire extinguishers is performed and documented. Arrange for and oversee outside contractors as directed.

Receive and store deliveries of maintenance/office supplies. Move furniture as needed. Be a member of the fire safety team and participate in fire drills. On call for emergencies, this may require early and/or late hours.

Hours

Full time, 37.5 hours per week

  • Tues-Thurs 1pm-9:30pm
  • Fri-Sat 8am-4:30pm
Qualifications
  • Five years experience in building maintenance, experience in trades is helpful
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred
  • Ability to use independent discretion and judgement
  • Certificate of fitness for Fire Safety Director preferred
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
  • Valid driver's license preferred
  • Vaccination preferred but not required
