About this position:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Podcast Producer to oversee the production of approximately 4-5 shows weekly, oversee several larger initiatives across the department as well as manage a small team of direct reports. This role is critical in managing all aspects of podcast production-from creative development and distribution, to monetization and marketing
-while maintaining network protocols and ensuring the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

* Oversee 3-5 weekly releasing podcasts, ensuring the highest quality from creative development and content capture, through post production and distribution.

* Build positive working relationships with talent, provide feedback, address any issues, and ensure a collaborative and productive environment.

* Manage performance and growth strategy.

* Collaborate with the editing team to deliver polished episodes that meet client expectations and maintain high standards.

* Collaborate with leadership on larger initiatives across the department such as marketing strategy, growth opportunities as well as talent relations.

* Understand and oversee larger cross-department operations, providing guidance and context to the team.

* Oversee and mentor a team of 2-3 Producers, providing constructive feedback and guidance to foster growth and maintain high standards

* Advising junior employees on best practices for communication and workflow.

* Assist in content development across the department, participate in brainstorming sessions, and monitor show performance.

Qualifications:

* 5+ years of proven experience in podcast production - audio recording, editing, and quality control processes

* Proficiency in podcast production tools and software is required

* Direct leadership experience

* Exceptional organizational and project management skills - ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

* Experience working with high level talent.

* History of managing cross departmental operations and systems

* Experience with podcast marketing and promotion, as well as larger growth and visibility strategy
